“NetClaw should always be the first consideration when selecting the method of installing safety nets”.
NetClaw™ is a safety net attachment system which allows all affected by the Work at Height Regulations 2005 to achieve the primary objective of avoiding working at height. Using the NetClaw system, riggers can safely install safety nets from the floor below and away from the building perimeter – eliminating the risk of a fall.
The system consists of a pre-formed, passivated carbon sprung steel unit called NetClaw and an attachment head mounted on a pole. The NetClaw is fed onto the border rope of the safety net and then connected to the attachment head. The rigger connects the NetClaw remotely to the lower flange of the steel using the pole and head. NetClaw is typically used within metal decking and precast concrete trades.

NetClaw is extremely safe and easy to use, which dramatically improves rigger productivity, but not at the expense of personal safety.

The NetClaw is available in three sizes; 25mm, 40mm and 75mm, with special sizes made to order. New users can learn how to use NetClaw through a half day course in Colwich. Easy to read, Instructions for Use are supplied with each delivery or they can be downloaded from this website.

more innovation from Shire4Education
Netclaw has been developed for use in the erection of "cross wall" frames using 25mm diameter polypropylene rods fed through the "Crosswall Claws". The net is then simply attached and tensioned using the standard NetClaw with net sizing easily achieved by under-rolling the edge of the net.
and even more with NetClaw for use with scaffold tube
In specific situations, scaffold tube can be used to support safety nets. A variation of the standard NetClaw unit is simply clipped onto the tube, resulting in a reliable interface between the net and tube.
NetClaw is a registered European Trade Mark 003073749. UK Patent no. GB2391581. European Design 000015433.
AT ALL TIMES, USERS NEED TO BE SATISFIED THE SCAFFOLD STRUCTURE IS DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND PREDICTED LOADS AND EVIDENCE OF THIS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE
