
Erection of Precast Concrete Structural/Flooring
Who Should Attend?
Individuals who wish to learn how to erect precast concrete panels in accordance with Manufacturers Instructions and Code of Practice. The course involves both classroom and practical learning.
How long does it last?
A total of 2 days are spent in the classroom. A further 4 days are spent on site and the course concludes with a 1 day test (written and practical).
How many candidates are allowed on each course?
To maximise learning, the course is restricted to a maximum of 6 candidates.

What's the end result of the course?
Successful candidates receive a Shire4Education.com card and certificate. This foundation course may lead to the candidate persuing a Precast related Level 2 NVQ:-
Erection of Precast Concrete Structural. QUB 780 Units (01/02/03/182/402G)
Erection of Precast Concrete Flooring QUA 780 Units (01/02/03/180/402G)
Erection of precast Cladding QUA 778 Units ( 01/02/03/181/402G)On achievement of the NVQ, the candidate may apply for Blue CSCS Card.
Note: The national occupational standards for these three qualifications are closely linked. On achievement of one of the above NVQ's, a candidate will only need to do two more units to achieve the remaining NVQ's.
