Any safety critical equipment must be managed to ensure it performs in the event it is brought into use. Safety nets and ancillary equipment are subjected to aggressive conditions on construction sites. It is therefore essential that they are managed in the yard/warehouse by an individual with knowledge of how to do this. Shire4Education are able to educate those selected for this task through a half day course. The objective of the course is ensure the candidate fully understands the way in which safety net systems work, how to set up an audit trail, the way in which the system should be examined and how to identify faults.
The course is based upon the requirements of BS8411, BSEN 1263/1&2 and Work @ Height Regulations. It is designed to compliment the Safety Net Rigger and Safety Net Inspectors courses.
The conclusion to the course is a certificate of attendance.
